Question for the day: 2-2-2010

Question for the day: Has the Word become flesh in you ENOUGH to make live the statement, "A Church Determined to be demonstrative in showing love for God and service to humanity" and if so, how?

  1. Gal. 5:25 teaches "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." On a daily basis I seek to live and walk in the Spirit. As a result all of my actions for God and humanity demonstrate and exude love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith [Gal. 5:22)". Even when tested, because of His Spirit that lives in me, with the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit I can continue to demonstrate love for God and humanity in any situation.

  2. Upon acceptance of Christ as our Lord and Savior-who is the Word that became flesh-demonstrated that Love on the cross-in acceptance of that Love a relationship began with us. It is through this relationship you learn more about His Love. In your submission to Him you learn to demonstrate that love to God and to humanity. His Love is demonstrated in many ways: through kindness, caring, being compassionate, showing humility, learning to forgive, being content, be not a shame of the Gospel, be that beacon of light He has told us to be. How we do this? "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
    and all these things shall be added unto you."
